Last month, I did a sort-of traditional flip through (see it here) but this month, I’m shaking it up a bit.
Here’s how this post will be going:
- main monthly pages
- my weeklies and how I tried different layouts
- a few of my favourite daily spreads (which are not already in the weekly picture shots)
So, let’s dive in, shall we?
Main monthly spreads
The normal calendar and traditional log didn’t work much well for me and I tended to not refer them most of the time. So in August, I’ll be changing it up and adding a traditional calendar spread.
Also, I didn’t really use this page. I’ll keep it on till I finish this book as I suspect I might use it for college stuff. If its still left blank, I’ll doodle a quote there later (my answer to any empty space—doodle!).
The tracker, I really liked! I could see my patterns and habits in one look. A few points didn’t work out such as study (college just started so no) and write (I didn’t write at all—at all!). I’ll scrap those but I’m keeping the rest.
I added a books to finish in 2016 because otherwise, I’ll just procrastinate to get to them. I didn’t read any of them in July, but I’ve planned on reading them in Aug.
Now, the weeklies:
Since my book is small (size A6), I couldn’t do elaborate spreads and didn’t require 2-page spreads yet, so I only tweaked a bit. This last one I liked so I’m going to use that until I need to change.
Some of my dailies:
And last, my August setup:
After these, I have an August blog post schedule spread which is like a traditional log. In the middle of July, I wanted to know what posts I’ve planned and scheduled so I added it in August. I’ve already filled in the page some so I can’t show you the picture *top secret stuff*.
What did you think of my bullet journal? Do you bullet journal? If not, do you want to?
