“Fighting Redemption” book review

Fighting RedemptionFighting Redemption by Kate McCarthy

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I read the prologue weeks ago, I knew that this book is tragic and it would reduce me to tears. Since I had exams going on and didn’t have time for a book hangover, I put it off for later.

I read it yesterday, and I gotta say, I was right.
A really good book that spans over years-right from the start when Ryan Kendall met Finlay and Jake Tanner. The friendship between Ryan and Jake is absolutely beautiful-if I can use that word, and it’s the forever types. Ryan and Fin start crushing over each other and the relationship blooming between them too, is really capturing.

The story, the tragedy and most of all Jake and Ryan being in SAS team of soldiers and deported to Afghanistan and everything that happens because of it, is entrancing. I’m starting to use huge words but I don’t really know how to express how much I loved this book.

Definitely recommended to everyone. Please read it.
